Woods and woodland are one of my favourite photographic subjects. I make often make a lot of use of ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and Multiple Exposures., combining these techniques to produce impressionistic or representational shots of the subject.
Most of my images are taken in local woodlands throughout of the year to show the difference in the seasons. The woods in my area are predominantly Beech, intermingled with Birch, Rowan and Hawthorn and I have a few that I visit regularly around Emley Moor, High Hoyland, Seckar Woods and Woolley Edge.
