These are a series of digital art images influenced by looking at the world from above using Google Earth. I made them during the May 2020 lockdown during the Covid pandemic. What always fascinates me is how similar things look at both the larger and the macro level (all to do with patterns occurring in nature, I’m sure Fibonacci could explain it) It got me thinking about creating some original art work from the images I was seeing. I was unable to use any Google Earth images as these are copyright so all the work is original art created from scratch.
